What we store in your browser
Technically we use no classic cookies, but storage in your browser. The law treats that the same as cookies. That is why the notice speaks of cookies and why we explain it here.
sd-consent
Remembers whether you accept or decline the analytics cookie, so we do not ask on every page. Kept for 12 months, after which we ask again. No consent is needed for this: without this storage we cannot respect your choice.
sd-session
The analytics cookie: a random code that connects the pages of one visit. Kept until you close the tab or browser, and only if you give consent.
Counting without storage
We count every page view without storing anything in your browser. A small script from our own server sends the page, the language, the name of the website you came from and the previous page on our site. From your browser we derive whether you use a mobile, tablet or computer. We store no IP address and no browser data, and cannot link views to you. Under the Dutch Telecommunications Act, such a measurement with little or no impact on your privacy needs no consent.
The analytics cookie, only with your consent
On your first visit we ask whether we may use an analytics cookie. If you accept, your browser keeps a random code (sd-session) during your visit. It is sent with every page view, so we can see which route visitors take through the site.
The code says nothing about who you are. We do not link it to the contact form or to other data, and it disappears when you close the tab or browser. We keep the measurements for 12 months. If you decline, we only count your visit as described above, without storing anything.
Changing your choice
You can always change your choice through Cookie settings, also at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw your consent, we delete the code from your browser immediately. You can also delete the storage yourself in your browser settings.
